Versatile Body Designs

 

Bodies are purpose built to a high specification and suited to vehicles ranging from 7.5 to 26 tonne GVW. Designed to carry glass or windows, they are mainly constructed from steel reinforced sub frames, solid aluminium side panels or curtains and manufactured with a choice of sloping or vertical sides.

 

Body Style Options:

 

   1.   SOLID SIDED

   2.   CURTAIN SIDED

   3.   COMBINATION OF 1 & 2

 

Solid sided bodies are available with the following choice of RACK options:

 

   Sloping Sides:  With single offside, single nearside or double sided

Rear Door Options:

 

   Roll back curtain (with drop down tailgate)

   Solid double doors

   Roller shutter (only available with fixed roof)

 

 

External Rack Ledges:

 

Racks can be supplied with either fixed or folding ledges and come complete with outline marker lights.

 

Pack Stops:

 

The Pack Stop system provides an adjustable safety arrangement to stop the tendency for glass to slide forward in the event of an emergency stop or heavy braking.  Each vehicle over 7.5 tonnes is supplied with external and internal Pack Stops as standard.
